Branding & Site Design | S&H Construction

S&H Construction wants their potential customers to be able to picture their custom-built home, and one of the best ways to do that is to have a website that showcases completed projects.

For this client, we chose a homepage display with a large, colorful image slider. This image is meant to catch the attention of the visitor to the website and show them a vision of their completed home project.

Though S&H is a newer company with only a few projects to share currently, they will be able to easily update and add content to their website thanks to the training our team provided to them.

Are you ready to have our team build a website and is modern and beautiful, but also appeals to your customers, all while following search engine optimization standards?

Branding & Site Design | shoesucker.com

Our client loves shoes, and wanted to revamp her online store and rebrand her business using a new name… Shoe Sucker, with the tagline “when you’re a sucker for shoes.”

To begin, we mocked up several logo options. Shoe sucker allows for a lot of ways to play on the words visually, and we arrived at the design of this logo, which incorporates shoes and the candy sucker, complete with a cute bit out of it. Our client wanted an equally playful color scheme, and chose the teal and purple combination, which adds a vivid touch in her logo and on her new website.

Speaking of the website, we needed a ecommerce site that would meet the needs of her clients and showcase her products in a way that reflected the playful nature of the company. The Shoe Sucker online store includes plugins that allow for featured products to be displayed on the homepage, and for the most popular shoe styles to automatically fill. These features allow customers to know what is trending and purchase accordingly.

Does the online shopping experience on your current ecommerce website need an update? Are you wanting to sell products online, but don’t know where to begin? We can help! Contact us to get started.

video production for businesses

Business Profile Video Project

Our area is home to an international textile manufacturer, and we had the honor of putting together a new website and video for Bondex, Inc. Did you know we offer videography services, to include drone footage?

The below video is not only used on their new site design, but will also be showcased in their booths at trade shows.

Bondex Business Profile

Website Design Project

Textile manufacturing on a custom level is complex, and our team worked with Bondex to compile a clear message on their website. We provided video and photography services on this project to give the site a personalized feel.

Not only can their customers find the information they need quickly, but we produced an animated homepage header and a crisp, modern design that communicates their capabilities and innovation techniques.

Case Study: Spratlin and Son Construction

logoClient Name: Spratlin and Son Construction – Lincolnton, Georgia

The Challenge: Spratlin and Son Construction is a well-respected and established commercial construction company that has been serving the needs of businesses and communities for more than 40 years.  The client expressed that their initial website was in need of an overhaul, and wanted a professional designer and developer to refine their website presence as well as provide ongoing hosted support and updates. In addition, while they had a basic logo, there was little consistent branding through their company.  They wanted to update their brand to one that is recognizable throughout their industry.

The Solution: After the initial discovery process, we worked with our client to design new branding that was applied to a new logo (including a reversed version useful for company vehicles and equipment), new business cards and additional company collateral pieces.  We also designed and developed a custom, responsive website which showcases their project portfolio, construction/design services and company profile.

WHAT: SEO communicates to the search engines your intentions so they recommend your website for relevant searches. Search engines want to do their jobs as best as possible by referring users to websites and content that is the most relevant to what the user is looking for. It is a process of organizing and sorting titles, headings, content, keywords, links and tags in best possible way for Bing, Google and Yahoo to find your pages.

WHERE: Keyword strategy is important to implement on your website, but it should also extend to other off-site platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. Being consistent with keyword phrases within these platforms will only help your branding efforts.

WHEN: A great time to implement your SEO is when you’re considering a site redesign, or planning to launch a new site.

HOW: So how is relevancy determined in SEO?

  • Content: The title of the site, the text on the page, and descriptions that are given should all have real value, substance and be useful to the keywords given.
  • Performance: How fast is your site and does it work properly? Some key performance measures for SEO is a mix of branded keywords, how well pages on your site drive search engine traffic, visitors per keyword, and having unique pages on your site because the more content you have the more useful your site is to the consumer.
  • Authority: Making sure your site have good enough content to build relationships. This indicates to the search engines that your content is a trusted source of information.

Augusta, The Masters and Your Website

build website augusta ga

The Masters Augusta GA GolfThe Masters® practice rounds begin in less than a week.  Personally, this is one of my favorite weeks of the year.  During this week, much of the national eye, really international, focuses on our community in Augusta, GA and the Augusta National.  It really is a fun part of living in the CSRA.

For local business owners that have a brick and mortar storefront, it’s also a great opportunity to take advantage of the thousands of guests the tournament brings.  That’s a much welcomed business boost, especially in the current state of the economy.  If you’re a business owner, you no doubt have spent a good bit of time and resources in getting ready.  Have you considered your web presence in those preparations?

If not, here’s a scenario to consider: A tourist is in town for the tournament.  They’re looking for a place to eat dinner at that evening or looking for something to do.  There’s a high probability that they will be searching for places using their smart phone or laptop.  If they’re driving, it’s more likely they’ll be grabbing their iphone or droid and searching for a place online.

Here are some questions to think through:

  • Do I have  website?  Is it one that I would be proud to show off and for people to see?
  • Do I have some promotional items ready?  Maybe a special Master’s week deal?
  • Is my website high enough in the search engine listings so that it can even be found?
  • Should I have a mobile version of my website or will my current site work?
  • Do I have social media connections to the site (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) so that customers can keep up to date with sales, product offerings, new releases, etc.?
  • Is my website current and up to date?
