Voltz Electrical Service is an experienced, reliable electrician serving the greater Augusta, GA, area. In order to enhance online visibility in a competitive market, Alive Media worked with the Voltz team to design an aesthetically pleasing website that was highly optimized for search engines, as well as user-friendly. Alive Media incorporated a variety of search engine optimization (SEO) tactics to enhance rankings in organic search as well as Google Maps. To improve ease of use, the site has a clean design organized by relevant topics; it also provides multiple opportunities for a prospective client to call or email to schedule an appointment – including a “call now” button on mobile.

Medical Outfitter Training Consultants (MOTC) provides medical, health and safety training programs for both government agencies and private corporations. MOTC did not want to make major changes to the design elements on their site but recognized that certain updates were important to keep pace with how their clients engage with technology. Alive Media worked with MOTC to give the site a modern refresh that ensured mobile friendliness, while remaining true to the initial design.

Dr. Clark D. Moore drew on more than 30 years of medical experience when he founded Carolina Orthopedics, a full-service orthopedic clinic that provides personalized, high-quality orthopedic care to patients in Aiken and across the CSRA. Alive Media worked closely with Carolina Orthopedics to create a user-friendly site design that gives a current or prospective patient information regarding orthopedic treatments and options, as well as patient forms. Endurance Fitness is both a gym and an empowering fitness community that combines a high intensity, strength training program with nutritional coaching, accountability and goal setting. Alive Media designed a logo & website that builds positive brand image and clearly communicates the benefits of choosing Endurance Fitness over other gyms in the area. Client Name: Spratlin and Son Construction – Lincolnton, Georgia
The Challenge: Spratlin and Son Construction is a well-respected and established commercial construction company that has been serving the needs of businesses and communities for more than 40 years. The client expressed that their initial website was in need of an overhaul, and wanted a professional designer and developer to refine their website presence as well as provide ongoing hosted support and updates. In addition, while they had a basic logo, there was little consistent branding through their company. They wanted to update their brand to one that is recognizable throughout their industry.
The Solution: After the initial discovery process, we worked with our client to design new branding that was applied to a new logo (including a reversed version useful for company vehicles and equipment), new business cards and additional company collateral pieces. We also designed and developed a custom, responsive website which showcases their project portfolio, construction/design services and company profile.
One of the questions I often get asked is “Which payment processor should I use on my website to accept online payments?” As a business owner, maybe you’re developing a new e-commerce store or just want to incorporate the ability to take payments online. As you begin to do research solutions to use, I want to give you some options to consider. Check out the video below to see what some good options are and also to learn some of the vital questions to ask.
So as you begin to consider options for a payment processor for your website and business, here are some really important questions to ask and get clarity on:
- Is it mobile ready? If you are in a business where you need to be able to take payments when away from your office or using your mobile phone/iPad, will you able to process a payment easily on that device?
- Is it easy to use for customers and easy to get paid? What is this process going to be like for my customers when they check out? When they make a payment, is it going to be easy for them to do? For you the business owner, is it going to be easy for me to get the funds transferred to my bank account?
- What kind of fees and cost are associate with using this processor? Be sure to ask about the fine print. Ask how much it costs per transaction and how much it is on a monthly basis. Some payment processors charge a monthly fee just to have that service while others just charge a small fee per transaction.
- Will this processor grow with my business and are there limits? As business owners, we hope our businesses will grow. It is important to know will a payment processor scale and grow as my business grows or will there be a limit on how much I can process per month.
As you begin to research with merchant account or payment processor to use, take your time, do your research and then ask the right questions. As you do that, you’ll be able to identify the best payment processor for your business growth and that will fit your needs.
Hoping that you find the best fit for your website and business!
