Branding & Site Design | shoesucker.com

Our client loves shoes, and wanted to revamp her online store and rebrand her business using a new name… Shoe Sucker, with the tagline “when you’re a sucker for shoes.”

To begin, we mocked up several logo options. Shoe sucker allows for a lot of ways to play on the words visually, and we arrived at the design of this logo, which incorporates shoes and the candy sucker, complete with a cute bit out of it. Our client wanted an equally playful color scheme, and chose the teal and purple combination, which adds a vivid touch in her logo and on her new website.

Speaking of the website, we needed a ecommerce site that would meet the needs of her clients and showcase her products in a way that reflected the playful nature of the company. The Shoe Sucker online store includes plugins that allow for featured products to be displayed on the homepage, and for the most popular shoe styles to automatically fill. These features allow customers to know what is trending and purchase accordingly.

Website Design | The Untox Lady

Developing and designing this new website for lifestyle coach Leah Jacobs, the Untox Lady, was a fun experience. Not only was this one of our first projects for a life coach/nutritional influencer, but the subject matter of her website was compelling and interesting. She really knows her stuff!

We did some custom work for her blog, providing for different categories appear on different pages based on topic (recipes, etc.). We also added connectivity to Pinterest that allows her blog posts to automatically “pin” in the correct format and on the correct board category.

New Team Member | Sydney Johnson

We are happy to announce that Sydney Johnson joined the team at Alive Media as our new SEO Specialist on Monday, Oct 23. She stepped out of the marketing world for five years to stay home with her children and is excited to be back in the marketing world!

Sydney brings well-versed experience in product and services go-to-marketing strategy to the team. “Strong marketing is crucial in today’s crowded marketplace but of little value if it doesn’t reach the your target customer. I’m excited to help companies and business owners develop and grow their search engine optimization strategies, as part of a strong digital marketing presence,” she said.

Sydney lives in North Augusta, SC with her husband, Brandon, and three children, Amelia, Margot and Edmund. She is an interior design enthusiast, an avid fan of University of South Carolina Gamecocks football and whole food cooking and has an active TV viewing schedule after her children are in bed.
