My wife and I attended this year’s Drive, Chip and Putt event held here locally at the Augusta National in Augusta, GA on Sunday, April 5.
The grounds were as beautiful as expected but one stand out that we really didn’t expect was that everyone we crossed paths with said, “Happy Easter” or “Welcome to the Masters” and asked, “Is there anything I can help you with?” We were extremely impressed with the level of customer service we received the entire time we were there.
As a business owner, I know the importance of making sure the needs of my clients are met but that day, I realized that going that extra mile to give the best impression possible will have them not only thanking me but also telling others about how they were treated with the utmost respect.
My take-away at this year’s Drive, Chip and Putt wasn’t as much to do with the sport of golf as it was to make sure that my past, present and future clients experience the same value that Kim and I did.
